Legalsense offers extensive options for creating and managing management reports.
You can find these reports under 'Reports':
The example above is a screenshot of part of the standard reports that are available in Legalsense, but these can be adapted or expanded to your own wishes. Legalsense offers an extensive yet easy-to-use Report Builder for this.
By default, the reports are divided into groups (Work in progress, Cash flow, Realization etc.) and these groups can be modified (by means of the icon next to the group text) or you can add completely new groups.
You can create a new group by clicking the New group button:
You will then see the following screen:
Here you can indicate the name of the group and who is authorized to view the reports in this group. You indicate this under 'Available Groups'. So you can still give access to specific reports to people who normally do not have access to reports.
The reports that Legalsense can display are mainly about turnover. You can get reports on costs from your accounting software.
A new report can be created by clicking New report under any group:
When you click on add new report, you will see the following screen:
There are 2 types of reports to create:
- Report based on time and fee, showing both the amounts billed and unbilled;
- Report based on all amounts billed including advances, disbursements and taxes
These reports cannot be combined. The first report is really based on a time-based fee, while the second report is based on what was actually stated on the invoice.
When a name has been assigned and the type of the report has been indicated, you will see the following screen:
You can request the desired information by means of Filters and Groupings. Because there is a lot of choice available here, we recommend creating a number of reports yourself and experimenting with them. You will then get an idea of the possibilities.
