Mobile App

A new version of our mobile app is now available, offering improved performance. We recommend updating to this new version via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Time

• The 'Billing Status' filter on the timesheet search page has been updated. The existing option 'Work in Progress' has been renamed to 'Work in Progress incl. Draft' and will now display all time entries marked as 'Work in Progress,' including those on draft invoices. A new option, 'Work in Progress,' has been added to show only time entries not associated with draft invoices. This enhancement offers more precise filtering based on billing status.
• When exporting time entries to Excel, the filename now includes the date and time of the export, for example "Time_entries_2024-09-01_14-03-40.xlsx". 

Matters, clients, and contacts

• The filter 'On hold' on the matter list page has been renamed to 'Block billing' with two options: 'Yes' or 'No'. This filter allows to search for matters where billing is either blocked ('Yes') or not blocked ('No'). 
• A filter 'Block time entry' has been added to the matter list page with the options: 'Yes' or 'No'. This filter allows to search for matters where time entry is either blocked ('Yes') or not blocked ('No'). 

Disbursements

• The filter 'Block billing' has been added to the disbursement search page with two options: 'Yes' or 'No'. This filter allows to search for disbursements on matters where billing is either blocked ('Yes') or not blocked ('No'). 
• We have simplified the process of identifying whether you are creating a new disbursement or editing an existing one in Legalsense by updating the form title. The title will now display as either ‘New disbursement’ or ‘Edit disbursement’ to make the distinction clear. 

Reports

The User rates report (‘Reports’ - ‘User rates’) has been redesigned to match the updated layout style also used on the ‘Settings’ and ‘Users’ pages.

Settings

A quick search filter has been added to the price template table under 'Settings' - 'Lists' -'Price templates'. This new search field allows you to easily find price templates by their name. 

APIv3

• The 'Chargeables' endpoint has been added to APIv3. 
• The listview of Client endpoint is expanded with the following fields: 'branches', 'client_status, 'currency', 'date', 'is_billable', 'originating_user', 'parent_client', 'price_list', 'reduction_rate' and 'referrer'.
