Time

If a budget is set for a matter, Legalsense will display a budget notification on the screen when time is entered for that matter. The notification on the 'Time' homepage includes the (sub)matter names, which were excluded from the notification message on the 'Timers' page. The (sub)matter name is now included on all pages where the budget notification is shown. 

Matters, Clients, and Contacts

• We have added the filters 'Billing reference debtor' and 'Reference matter contact' to the advanced search filters of the matter list page. The result shows all matters that contain a debtor with the filtered billing reference and/or all matters with contacts with the filtered reference. 
• On the matter and client page, a section 'KYC & Compliance' is available. This section supports the uploading of documents, such as the engagement letter, on a matter and/or client level. This section is also added to the contact page, allowing you to upload documents on a contact level. 
• Additionally, when uploading documents, it is now possible to upload files of any extension, such as .msg, .eml, Excel files, and more. Previously, only PDF files were allowed. All uploaded files are scanned for viruses after uploading—this security measure helps detect potential threats and increases the safety of your data. However, Legalsense expects your firm to have local systems in place to prevent viruses and malware from being present on your systems and, therefore, from being uploaded to Legalsense. 

APIv3

• The API endpoint /api/v3/me now contains a key 'timesheet_minutes_display' describing how timespans are rendered in the application. 
• A new field 'recent_matter' is available via the endpoint /api/v3/me. This field exposes the ten most recently used matters, ordered with the most recent matter at the top. 

Mobile App

In the previous two release notes, we mentioned the new version of the Mobile app (2025.03.28) and the end of supporting earlier versions, as in release 25.06.

Please inform all users within your firm to update to the new version.
