Under 'Settings - General - Emails', you can change the email provider by executing the steps below. If you do not have access to your domain (DNS) settings, you should contact your domain/website administrator or your IT manager to be able to process the instructions as mentioned on this specific settings page.
Click on the 'Change email provider,' select 'Flowmailer' and click 'Save.'
Fill out the following fields:
Domain*: the name of your email domain.
Return path domain*: the name of the return path domain. The 'Return path domain' is required for handling bounces. It must be a subdomain of the domain name you want to use for sending emails. For example, 'bounces.yourdomain.com'.
Click 'Save' once you have completed this form.
DNS records
Once the fields for these main settings are filled and saved, the DNS records are generated automatically. These DNS records are required to configure your domain (DNS) settings so that you can send emails from Legalsense on behalf of your domain.
Therefore, the records will have to be entered with the correct names, types, and values in your domain (DNS) settings by your domain administrator.
We recommend (if possible) setting the TTL to one hour.
Once all the data have been successfully implemented in your email domain, you can click on the 'Verify DNS Records' button:
It may take up to 48 hours for the verification to complete but usually it will be a lot quicker. If the verification process takes longer than 48 hours, we advise you to check your domain settings or contact your domain administrator. You can also use free online tools like https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx to check how your domain is configured.
Sender email addresses
Here you can specify one or more email addresses as a sender address. If there are multiple sender addresses configure, one email address will be marked as the default email sender address. When sending an invoice email from Legalsense, you can change the sender address to any of the configured addresses.
