Release 23.08 August

The Legalsense update of August 2023 has version number 23.08 and includes the following changes:

KYC and Compliance documents

A new "KYC and Compliance" section has been added to the client and matter detail pages.

This combines the old AML & Engagement letter sections and allows you to add multiple documents for the same client or matter.

Existing Engagement letters have been moved to this new section, including the Engagement letter status information.

Reporting

Age categories are now available as columns in reports based on "Time & fee amount, both billed and unbilled", in addition to having them available as filters and groupings. You can display hours and the fee amount for each age category. 

Billing

• The performance of downloading multiple invoices as (merged) PDF has been improved.
• The invoice overview page has a new filter, "Finalized by". This allows you to view all invoices that a specific user finalized.
• "E-billing" has been added to the "Invoice send method" options. This status can be used to indicate that a debtor requires another electronic method of receiving their invoices, e.g., via a LEDES portal or the PEPPOL network.
