Terminology update: References to "billable minutes" have been updated to "billable time" to avoid confusion about time units.
Matters, Clients, and Contacts
Matter archive number: If the archive number entered when archiving a matter does not match the configured mask for matter archive numbers, an error is shown.
Invoices
Billing workflow: The 'Task overview' in the billing workflow now supports filtering by 'Matter practice group', 'Invoice tags', 'Matter tags', 'Client tags', and 'Contact tags'.
Multi-firm enhancements: In Legalsense environments in which multiple firms are configured, a firm filter is added to the 'Advance overview' and to the 'Task overview' in the billing workflow. When viewing an invoice and opening the invoice information, the firm the invoice belongs to is now displayed as well.
Approval steps: If the user who completes a task is also one of the responsible users on the next workflow task, that next task will be skipped. This does not apply when the next task requires approval from all responsible users.
Integrations
Inexchange: An integration with Inexchange is added and can be used for electronic invoicing via Inexchange from Legalsense. More information on the steps to complete before you can start with the Inexchange integration can be found in our knowledge base article about Inexchange.
Accounting errors: Error messages from the Fortnox and Exact Financials integrations now include more detailed information.
Notification center
On-screen notifications: We are in the process of moving notifications to our notification center for long-running actions. For example, sending invoices in bulk via Peppol will now return a success notification when all invoices are sent, or a warning notification when some invoices could not be sent. In addition to the counter at the top of each page, these notifications now appear as on-screen notifications. The on-screen notifications can be clicked to open the notification center. Draft time entries: Using the DraftLogline endpoint, it is possible to create, update, delete, and approve draft time entries for users in Legalsense.
