Legalsense offers mobile apps that focus on writing time. These apps can be downloaded free of charge:
After opening the app, you can log in with the same URL and credentials that you use to log into your web environment.
For example, for "Company name" you enter: yourfirm.legalsense.nl
When the two-factor authentication (2FA) is active in your Legalsense environment, you will be asked to enter the token code when you log into the app.
Your login session will remain active in the app, unless you log out, so you don't need to log in every time you open the app.
When the app is opened for the first time, it may take a while before all data is synchronized.
View, add and edit time entries
If you have already written time, you will see the relevant time entries (per day). Via the weekly calendar at the top of the screen it is possible to view time entries of different days by pressing the day indication. By swiping the weekly calendar left or right you can navigate through the weeks. It is also possible to select a date by making use of the calendar icon .
Click on the '+' icon to add a new time entry on the selected date. After entering the time, selecting the matter, activity and an optional description, click on . The time entry is saved in your Legalsense environment.
You can edit time entries by selecting the time entry in the per day overview. In the 'Edit time entry' screen that opens the fields can be adjusted. When you are done press to save your changes.
To delete a time entry, use the red 'Delete' button in the 'Edit time entry' screen. You will be asked to confirm this delete action.
It is also possible to delete time entries by swiping them to the left in the per day overview.
Click on the '+' icon in the 'Timers' section and select the matter, activity and type (Billable, Written off or Zero rate) of the timer before saving with . The timer is now ready to be activated.
The timer starts running when you activate it by pressing . The active timer is shown with a yellow background.
If you want to stop the timer and save the time entry, select the timer. A screen appears where you can pause/start, reset (to 00:00:00) the timer or save the time entry.
When you choose to save the time entry the measured time is rounded based on the time settings that apply in your administration.
To delete a timer, use the red 'Delete' button in the 'Edit time entry' screen. You will be asked to confirm this delete action.
It is also possible to delete timers by swiping them to the left in the timer overview.
Reports are available in the app and show the total of the written time (split into billable / non-billable) per week or per month. It is possible to view data from a different period by using the arrows on both sides of the period.
It is possible to log out via the profile page. You can also find information about the version number of the app and the office environment in which you are logged in.
