Azure AI Foundry as an AI provider
Legalsense supports Microsoft Azure OpenAI as a provider for its AI features, alongside OpenAI. Admin users select the provider and enter their Azure deployment details under Settings → Integrations → AI provider. This lets firms whose IT policy requires Microsoft Azure use Verbal Time Entry within their own Azure environment.
Selecting Azure as the provider requires an Azure AI Foundry project with a supported OpenAI model and matching credentials. See the Azure OpenAI section of Enabling verbal time entry.
Time
A verbal time entry can record time for several timekeepers at once. Name the colleagues involved while dictating, and Legalsense produces one draft time entry per timekeeper for you to review and approve. This lets one person log a shared activity, such as a meeting, on behalf of everyone who took part. See also Using verbal time entry.
Invoices
The advance overview export includes a Firm column, identifying which firm each advance belongs to when you work across multiple firms in one environment.
Integrations
Admin users can re-authenticate the Fortnox connection themselves from Settings → Fortnox, using the Re-authenticate button when a sync stops working, without involving Legalsense support. See also Setting up the Fortnox Integration.
The AFAS integration accepts hyphens (-) and slashes (/) in billing references. Firms that rely on these characters can generate the matching invoices without adjusting their references.
Peppol IDs are validated more strictly, both when an ID is saved and when a Peppol invoice is sent. An ID that does not match a valid scheme is reported as invalid, and a Peppol invoice is blocked from sending when its ID does not match the recipient's registered Peppol ID. Check that the Peppol IDs on your firm and debtors are valid, and correct any that are flagged. See also Peppol.
Invoices sent through Inexchange can carry extra PDF attachments, the same way they can when sent by email. This supports recipients who require supporting documents or specifications alongside the invoice. See also Inexchange.
Other
The interface refresh continues across more of Legalsense. In this release the updated styling reaches, among others, the matter list and matter edit pages, the client list, client detail, and client pricing pages, and the legal aid and Recofa report pages. On the contact and client lists, advanced search fields are grouped under a More filters toggle so the most-used fields show by default. Smaller refinements improve readability across these pages, such as showing a contact person's job title below their name and labeling the quick-search field.
